I mean if shaw gets you 2 2nds and a 3rd then why not kadri gets u 3 2nd

I agree I think if we trade kadri you need to one have a replacement center in place and two should try and get a defencemen back.

Not sure what the odds are that Dubas assigns to 2nd vs 1st, but wouldn’t you rather have a 1st + 2nd? I got to imagine Kadri is worth at least one 1st+. For sure three 2nds, depending on where they land, has got to be part good odds that at least one of them works out ok, so I think it’s fine as far as that goes, but still, got to think a 1st is better? Yes? No? I don’t know. Lol.

Tyhockey does make a good point though. If we trade Kadri, we should be bringing in someone to help now. We are in “Win now” mode, so I don’t see Dubas making a trade unless t improves the roster immediately.

Because they want warm body back for him. You think they would want to clear cap space to go out and pick UFA dman? Nobody worth spending big dollars for. Gardiner getting 7x7 probably. You don't want to give him 7x7.
