1. Marleau will not waive his NMC to go to a re-builder.

2. Fair, but next year the leafs are hanging on to Dermott and Nylander. How about Kapanen for Pulock?

3. Leafs can't afford all of Jenner, Anderson, and Nutivaara. We are keeping Kadri anyway unless we are totally screwed by the cap.

I like all these trade HeatDreamer, though I have a very difficult time seeing Marleau accept a trade to anywhere but a contending team. I figure he probably doesn’t have a whole lot of loyalty to Leafs, since he’s only been on the team two years, so he would accept a trade, but not for a team like Anaheim, that is clearly in a bad situation and trying desperately to turn things around, which also makes me wonder if they would even want Marleau either?
