So idk if you guys listen to the Steve dangle podcast but the made a good point about how Babcock loves to go with what he's comfortable with instead of trying new things which leads to players like hainsey playing as your top rhd when he's not that player so how you break that habit you trade him these moves adress the physical needs of the leafs.

We can't afford Petrovic this year or next year, so the first trade is a no.

I would take Hainsey over Mcquaid.

Philly would want more.

For the cap situation it’s easy you can move anyone of our fourth liners to make it work and we don’t have to worry about next year he’s a ufa as for Mcquaid for hainsey makes more sense to me to have a guy like McQuaid over hainsey yes hainsey logs you lots of minutes but he’s too soft and too slow he’s actually a bottom pairing guy time to move on as for the simmonds trade I posted the same trade and added Bracco and everyone said it was too much lol that would be the player I add or tymashov all these trade are doable I get you want talent but we don’t need no more talent we need meat and potatoe guys the leafs get slapped around by teams like Boston.
