I think leafs have a pretty good team and I don't see major disruption coming. In my humble opinion they are after:

A good rd to play with Reilly
A rough and tumble guy but expiring contract I think
A goalie whose contract expires at Year end

This type of trading I doubt will happen.

HoundDog, you stirring the pot again with these fantastic trades of yours? I love it. Lol. Always enjoyable to read, at minimal you give something to think about and get discussion going.

Itâ€™s not exactly major surgery because the first three lines are pretty much what weâ€™ve been icing all season, though the players have been shuffled around a little. Youâ€™ve added a fourth line of all big guys, heavy hitters, and a lot of skill. Itâ€™s an outstanding fourth line nd if Leafs could ice that forward group, it would easily be the best depth in the league. Each and every one of those lineups could be a top line on many teams.

The defense youâ€™ve added that 1RHD everyone says we need, and upgraded 2RHD to Pysyk, and at the same time disposed Zaitsev, Hainsey, and Gardiner, all three of whom is generally agreed need to go.

It looks like you got rid of all the right guys, and I approve of the players youâ€™ve brought in. Dumba being hurt just means that trade can wait until off season, or just substitute any other 1RHD of equal capability. Itâ€™s all good.

Itâ€™s a fantasy forum. And much of this proposal is pure fantasy. Lol. But thatâ€™s okay. At least you contribute something every day. And usually more than once a day you post something. And thatâ€™s what this site needs. More original contributors such as yourself. Itâ€™s fun analyzing and commenting on other peopleâ€™s posts, but without new and original co tributions, there is nothing to talk about. Guys complaining your posts are not realistic should post something of their own. Simple as that. Show everyone what a good proposal looks like.

I enjoyed this proposal HoundDog. And I look forward to anything else you throw out there later today. As always my friend, keep your head up and your stick on the ice.

Fantasy trade? geezs, Who is this Rocket9 with all of the legit inside info and the REAL trades that I see posted on here every other day? Like the one Jodes just put up on trading Nylander and Brown for Pesce and Ferland and Iâ€™m on fantasy island? Lol Jk Jodes nice post ðŸ‘! @ Rocket9, I put up trades that â€œIâ€think would make the Leafs better. I wasnâ€™t planning on using this as GM experience on my resume. I realized that using the cap and follow some guidelines to avoid upsetting the forum seems to works lol. But fantasy Ha! just so you and I are on the same page

Continue to post as this is crunch time in NHL season for trades. But be realistic and don't let anyone patronize you into thinking fantasy posts are ok certainly during this time of year. Realistic posts will initiate realistic discussion. Those suggesting to you to continue to post fantasy are delusional.

Why ask me to post "a good proposal" when you clearly state at beginning of the same paragraph above in your response, you state this is "a fantasy forum"? Now you are contradicting yourself. Do you want fantasy or realistic posts since it seems you have anointed yourself the mayor of this site. Are you also the editor of this site giving advice to others?

Why do you think unrealistic fantasy posts initiate good discussion?

Well Iâ€™m looking forward to your next post on some trade that has no more bearing on the price of tea in China than it does with the leafs. This site should be about fun suggestions for leaf fans with some different looks on how to construct a championship team. Any way no hard feelings, keep the rumours coming.

You do realize that the players youâ€™re trading from the marlies donâ€™t effect the leafs cap? Add up the salaries of everyone in your line up.

You are insanely over the cap.

These trades would ruin the leafs.
