Leafs redo their defense in one week

Nylander + Borgman for Hamilton + Ferland.

Gardiner + Engvall +3rd for Muzzin

Zaitsev + Johnsson +1st for Manson + Ritchie.

Defense is fixed for the next two to three years.

Liljegren can play as early as next year and Sandin in two years.

My guess is Rosen and Liljegren will be starters next year, no matter what, excepting injury.

The fix is easy in my opinion taking the player you used in this trade

Leafs need a guy to play with Reilly hainsey has done well but you can see in his game he can’t keep up it would be nice to give him a lesser role.

Now this is a nice trade I think Dougie Hamilton is a little over rated. Seems to be about himself. Nice target for the right price.

I like it but I’m terrified Hamilton is Larry Murphy all over again. I remember how is leaf fans booed him without mercy for the year. I really think they need to look at someone else. Hamilton hasn’t shown he has the balls to play in a place like Toronto.
