SDR is looking good in junior. He could be a real steal at 76th. Only 18, he’s a little smallish, but that might not be an issue. got to assume he’s going to put on a few more pounds before he’s finished junior. And the game seems to be geared more towards the smaller skilled players these days anyway. I’m really interested to see how he works out for us.

Leafs could still use some more prospect players at the Center position. Just my opinion, but I don’t think Brooks is going to make it to NHL, and SDR is a question mark to say the least.

The Jets are a contending team, so there is zero chance they trade a starting defenseman in Myers for a winger who isn't needed at all.

The issue I see in Winnipeg is they are going to have a cap crunch soon, laine needs a contract, trouba Myers and a few other players.

The Jets aren't in a cap crunch now though. So, trading a player they rely on for one they have zero need for doesn't make any sense. Myers is UFA at the end of the season, so he won't have any impact on the Jets cap next year unless they resign him and trade Trouba.
